Redwood Down

Redwood, MCSR’s Altix supercomputer, crashed this afternoon (23 Aug 11). It is still down as of this writing. We are working to determine the cause of the crash and bring the system back online. We will update this post as we know more.

PQS on Sequoia

PQS 4.0, a high-performance quantum chemistry program package published by Parallel Quantum Solutions, is now available on sequoia. Sluggishness on Sequoia

MCSR is aware that sequoia is sluggish/slow to respond to commands today. We are working on the problem and hope to have it fixed soon. Thank you for your patience.

Abaqus 6.11

Abaqus 6.11 has been released. MCSR has the disks for this Abaqus 6.11 and has updated the campus license server to support the new version. (Older versions are still supported as well.)
